The 'Two Red Shoes Ballroom' was a venue in Elgin in the 60s and 70s. As a major venue in the North of Scotland, The Red Shoes hosted many top acts.
Gene Vincent in played on the site of our theatre in 1961,The Beatles played there in 63 around the time 'Love me do' catapulted them into the stratosphere. Pink Floyd played there in 67 and other acts include; Eric Clapton and Cream in 67 , and Lulu, The Who, The Kinks, Dusty Springfield, The Copycats and The Barron Knights.
With that tradition in mind, the Red Shoes Theatre reopened, with the hopes of providing the best entertainment for Elgin and the North of Scotland.
